Abstract

Post-term pregnancy is defined as any pregnancy that has gone beyond 42 completed weeks of pregnancy, this can be translated to 294 days since onset of conception or any pregnancy that exceeds the expected date of delivery by a fortnight I.e. 14days from a first trimester ultrasound estimated date of delivery (EDD)(ACOG, Opinion 579)
