Endometriosis is one of the most common gynecologic causes of chronic pelvic pain in women and affects 10% of reproductive aged women. The average age of diagnosis is 28, unfortunately, almost a decade of pain and symptoms pass before patients finally receive their diagnosis. Endometriosis can be debilitating, impairs quality of life, and carry large financial burden for patients, their family, and society.
