This study explores the growing trend of university students utilizing YouTube as a learning platform in comparison to traditional in-person education. With its widespread popularity, YouTube offers educational videos that cater to individual learning needs, providing on-demand access to information and fostering self-directed learning. This research aims to uncover why students prefer YouTube for studying and how they select content for learning. Additionally, it examines student preferences for YouTube-based training versus in-person internship experiences. By analyzing these trends, the study provides insights into how technology is reshaping educational practices and counselling skill acquisition. The findings highlight the flexibility, convenience, and personalization that YouTube offers, as well as its role in bridging gaps in traditional education.
