Abstract

Chemobrain, or chemotherapy-induced cognitive impairment (CICI), is a prevalent yet often under recognized consequence of cancer treatment that significantly impacts patients’ quality of life. From a nursing perspective, understanding the implications of chemobrain, early identification, and effective management strategies are crucial to improving patient care. This article explores the aetiology, symptoms, and nursing interventions related to chemobrain, emphasizing the importance of a holistic, patientcentered approach in oncology nursing.
